Aeolus

University of Southampton, Arts Coordinator

April 2010 on 21-month contract on .6 basis

I worked with Luke Jerram to support him to produce and tour a substantial sculpture – Aeolus.

Aeolus comprises 10tonnes of stainless steel and was shown on a tour to three distinctively different locations. It’s highly-mirrored surface allowed it to merge int it’s environment like a chameleon, it looked completely different at each location. Harp strings wired across guitar bridges allowed the aeolian harp to sing in the wind.
