Self-mentoring: two year organisational review for Flow – reflecting, revising, updating

Flow was set up in late 2012 and it is now time to look back, and forward, to what comes next. What has been achieved, what worked best, what didn’t, it’s all part of the process of development.

I’ll let you know when it’s complete!

In the meantime, a few words about mentoring

I value it

A lot

I have always appreciated support of a mentor and no doubt will find it useful to work with someone during my review.

Since setting up Flow I have mentored around 12 artists – and amazingly I have ended up working with 3 of them on projects. Though it isn’t surprising by any means – because the working relationship is built on trust and care.

As I have moved from the mentor-mentee relationship into delivery, I have not taken on any new mentees – but I would love to do that now, to keep the cycle going, to stay fresh and engaged in a way that works and results in productivity.

So if you are thinking about it, and like what Flow is doing, read more, then get in touch.

I'm an artist and also commission contemporary art in unusual locations. As a producer, I fundraise, curate, project manage and deliver projects. I'm also a writer and film-maker.
